Scania SDP3 2.66.2.6 (2025) is the latest OEM diagnostic and programming suite for Scania trucks, buses, industrial and marine engines. It provides complete diagnostic coverage for all Scania systems — including EEC, COO, RET, BMS, ICL, and EMS — and supports the newest Euro 6, Stage V and hybrid configurations.
This 2025 release includes the Marine Edition, BNS II Service Tool (BST) for brake systems, and XCOM 2.54.0.0 for advanced ECU parameter editing and engineering-level customization.
Delivered via digital download with remote installation (TeamViewer). Includes lifetime activation and full technical support.
- Scania VCI 3 (required for full functionality): ECU flashing, programming, parameter editing, calibration, firmware updates.
- NEXIQ USB-Link 2/3, DPA5, Noregon DLA+ (read-only, basic diagnostics): via RP1210 — fault code read/clear, live data, basic monitoring. Programming and flashing are NOT available with these adapters.
If you need ECU programming, flashing or full dealer-level access, you must use a Scania VCI 3 interface. Nexiq is not a substitute for VCI 3 on Scania.

🔹 Scania SDP3 Marine Edition
Dedicated configuration for marine engines and generator units. Provides service routines, live data, DPF and SCR control, and calibration functions specific to marine EEC3, EEC4 and EEC5 ECUs.
🔹 BNS II Service Tool (BST)
Utility used to diagnose, calibrate and test Scania BNS II braking systems. Supports hydraulic and pneumatic brake modules, ABS and EBS diagnostics, and ECU coding for braking networks.
🔹 Scania XCOM 2.54.0.0
Engineering-level software used for ECU parameter editing, firmware reconfiguration, and advanced troubleshooting. Enables reading, saving, and modifying control unit parameters, including special adaptations and vehicle-specific calibrations. Requires Scania VCI 3.

Bottom line: If you only need to read fault codes and monitor data, Nexiq or DPA5 work fine. If you need to flash, program, or do dealer-level operations, you need a Scania VCI 3.
