Cummins INCAL Tool v9.1 is the newest generation utility for modifying, converting, rebuilding and unlocking INCAL calibration files used in Cummins INSITE (7.x, 8.x, 8.7.x / 8.7.3+). This 2025 release adds deeper ECM parameter control, enhanced BBZ/CL compatibility, full NoPass repack, start-date editing, and an optimized workflow for both stock and Calterm-modified calibrations.

INCAL Tool v9.1 provides complete management of CAL ⇄ INCAL conversions, legacy/new repack operations, and creation of custom calibration containers compatible with all modern Cummins ECM families.

How INCAL Tool v9.1 Works With Calterm

• 1. Open & modify a CAL file in Calterm
  Perform adjustments to torque tables, HP limits, fuel maps, VGT control, speed governors, derates, limiters, or any internal ECM parameter.
• 2. Save the edited CAL
  Calterm exports the calibration as a modified CAL file.
• 3. Convert CAL → INCAL using INCAL Tool v9.1
  INCAL Tool injects your modified calibration into a valid INCAL structure accepted by INSITE, with all metadata rebuilt:
  • ECM Code, ECM PN, CPL
  • ECM family compatibility
  • INSITE version compatibility flags
  • Security fields and checksum structures
• 4. Repack for your specific INSITE version
  INCAL Tool v9.1 can convert your modified INCAL to:
  • INSITE 7.x
